Louis and Sarah Block Yeshiva High School is an Orthodox Jewish day school which includes grades nine through twelve. Separate buildings and programs are provided for boys and girls. The small size of the school, combined with a highly trained, experienced, and caring faculty, results in close attention to individual needs. BYHS feels more like a family than an institution, and the students are encouraged to grow spiritually and emotionally as well as intellectually. Block Yeshiva has been fully accredited by the Commission on Schools of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1981, and is recognized as a college-preparatory institution by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. It is a member of the Day School Council of the Central Agency for Jewish Education and is a beneficiary institution of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, the Jewish Federation of Southern Illinois, and the Avi Chai Foundation.
