Despite the lengthy school day, a full extracurricular program is available to BYHS students. Student councils represent the students' concerns on both campuses. Students participate in community service programs throughout the year, create their own holiday celebrations, and annually plan a larger event such a Shabbaton or production. 
        Stop by the school and you'll see it alive with activity throughout the entire year.  In the Athletic Department, the girls have aerobics and karate classes, and compete in varsity basketball, cross country, soccer, and tennis.  The boys field intramural teams in hockey, and varsity teams in soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, and baseball, and also do karate.
