Despite the lengthy school day, a full extracurricular program is available to BYHS students. Student councils represent the students' concerns on both campuses. The girls have aerobics and karate classes, and compete in varsity basketball, cross country, soccer, and tennis.  The boys field intramural teams in softball and hockey, and varsity teams in soccer, basketball, tennis, and baseball.
